To celebrate the upcoming winter solstice, rejoice with an evening under the stars. Gather around the fire and take a tour of the night sky while enjoying some sweet treats. Set your sights on the constellations above to discover the stars and planets visible this time of year. Gather at the amphitheater to cozy up around the fire, indulging in hot cocoa and campfire treats. If it is overcast or cloudy and the stars aren’t visible, thee will be alternative fun activities.

What to Expect: This program is entirely outdoors. You will be seated for most of the time but plan to stand for making S’mores. The planned path is dirt and gravel. The planned path grade is slightly hilly. No prior experience is necessary. Expect to walk about .5 miles from the Hudson Mills Activity Center parking lot to the amphitheater.
