ANN ARBOR SHOPPERS SEE NEW OPTIONS AS BRIARWOOD MALL WELCOMES SEVERAL STORE OPENINGS IN REMAINDER OF 2015
With new store construction, relocation and openings, the mall will soon offer new food and fashion locations
ANN ARBOR, August 25, 2015 — Briarwood Mall is proud to offer shoppers new and expanded options in food and fashion this fall, as several stores open soon while more relocate and expand their current offerings.
Three new retailers are preparing to open their doors at Briarwood in the coming months. Freshii plans to open their 571 square-foot store by fall 2015. The purveyor of salads, smoothies, and wraps is dedicated to providing fresh and nutritious meal choices that energize people on the go. It will be located across from California Pizza Kitchen in the Sears wing. Also under construction is Dry Goods, which will open across from Victoria’s Secret. Dry Goods carries an ever-changing selection that ranges from clothing to jewelry and accessories designed to complete shoppers’ latest trendy look. The 3,400 square-foot location in the JCPenney corridor is slated for an early fall 2015 opening. Fashion and lifestyle retailer Villa will begin construction on its 4,482 square-foot store, with an opening planned for December 2015. Villa strives to fuse the best of fashion and music into a high energy shopping experience that delivers on-trend apparel and accessories from head to toe.
Other Briarwood Mall retail updates include:
- Kay Jewelers is now open following a renovation featuring a state-of-the-art jewelry concept and private bridal consultation space.
- Gold and Gems is relocating near Sears from the current space next to Von Maur.
- Perfect Fit Tailor has also relocated to their new space across from Olga’s. They previously were located next to Von Maur.
- Sock World is now open next to JB Robinson. The store features a large selection of fun and stylish socks, workout gear and accessories.
