Come enjoy a weekend of rustic family camping at Lake Erie Metropark. This year’s theme is Camp Carnival. Join ringleaders, performers, and entertainers for a one-of-a-kind circus-themed campout..

There is plenty to experience when camping at Lake Erie Metropark. Friday, August 14^th starts the show-stopping weekend with Big Top Bingo and an assortment of classic carnival games! The evening will conclude with an optional hike and bonfire. Saturday, August 15^th, start your day with breakfast to fuel a fun-packed day. Join park staff for crafts, games, and a midafternoon round of Kids vs Parents field-day games. In the evening, the circus will arrive! The night will include dinner and entertainment from circus performers with the chance to develop some new skills. Sunday, August 16^th show off your skills for the chance to win the grand prize before the circus packs up and moves on! They will have bounce houses and arts and crafts for the kids to enjoy throughout the weekend.

Every family camping will receive a delicious smores making kit and welcome bag upon check-in.

RV and tent camping is available, but there are no electrical or water hookups. Generators are allowed except during quiet hours.
