Lace up your shoes and join the excitement! Dart for Art presented by The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair is an all-inclusive, one-mile run/walk in scenic downtown Ann Arbor. Whether you’re a top runner competing for prizes or a family just looking for some fun, this one mile course has something for everyone.
Coupled with the race is the party & activities. So even if you aren’t racing, there’s still plenty of family fun. Check out our reel from 2025’s Dart for Art & Paint the Town.
Cool off post race with the Fire Department’s Fire Truck Spray Park! (Make sure to pack a towel & maybe a change of clothes for the kids)
There will be Food Trucks- Cultured Kombucha Co, Tru Pizza Co, Little Drink Co, and Chamber Nuts. 107.1 will be broadcasting live and there will be a DJ for dancing.

Race Details
This year’s course is different from last year’s. It starts on State at E. Liberty, heads south to N. University where it turns past the Kinesiology building, then through campus between the Hatcher Graduate & Shapiro Libraries to S. University. From South University it heads back to State St, and then north on State to Liberty where it ends on Liberty just before Thompson.
- 6p – Kids Dash free for participants (ages 3-12)!
- 6:30p – One-Mile Community Race – All runners and walkers are welcome to join. Strollers are allowed – $25 if registered by 5/19, $30 from 5/20-6/15, $35 from 6/16-Race Day. $25/kids (12 & under), FREE/kids 5 & under
- 7:30p – One-Mile Featured Race (ages 13+) Competitive Race – $25 if registered by 5/19, $30 from 5/20-6/15, $35 from 6/16-Race Day.
