Learn the pewter sand casting process! Be authorized to use the pewter pot and sand casting area, with membership. The pewter sand casting process has historically been used to produce Egyptian and Roman tableware and decorative items, dating all the way back to 1450 BC. In this class, each student creates a sand mold, packs the sand through hammering, melts pewter, pours the molten pewter into their mold, and cleans up the resulting casting.
Ages 16+. Ages 13-15 with direct adult supervision
