The new Ann Arbor Public School Superintendent, Jeanice Swift, will be holding more than 30 community forums at various schools in our district. While it may be helpful to attend the one at your child’s school to hear any school/community specific topics, you are welcome to attend any session.

The sessions begin tonight, Thursday, September 19 at Angell and continue through Thursday, December 12 at Ann Arbor Tech.
Dr Swift’s visit to each school will begin by meeting with the staff after school and then meeting with parents, families, and others in the community from 6:30-8p.
According to the quote below from the district’s announcement, there will be small group discussions.
Attendees of the meetings will be asked to consider four questions in small groups:
- What is going well in the district and what are we proud of?
- What areas need our attention?
- What do we dream of and hope to achieve for our children and AAPS over the next 10-15 years?
- What are the top 3 priorities you would like Dr. Swift to address?
