Matthaei Botanical Gardens hosts free guided nature walks on select Wednesdays and Sundays.
Celebrate the Autumn Equinox and the changes in colors and light with a guided color-collecting walk. How has your plant pal changed in the past few weeks? Consider the vibrant colors of leaves, intricate patterns of fall flowers and seedheads, and textures of bark. Bring your Plant Pal notebook, or use materials they provide to explore!
Walks are designed for all ages. If there is a large mixed-age group they may split into two sets to offer different levels of engagement. Adults must stay with their children.
No registration required. They recommend gathering 10 min early in the lobby of the Gardens.
