Tefft Park Description

Tefft Park has two playgrounds. One north of the Saline Rec Center and one south of the Saline Rec Center. The north playground is better for older children since it is high and has many climbing options. The south playground is better for younger children although there are features for older kids too.

Tefft Park North Playground

My daughter loved the Tefft Park North Playground. Her first task was to climb up the parallel bars to the landing. There are also walls to climb for less of a challenge.

Next, she headed out the climbing pole and challenged herself to transfer directly to the monkey bars.

This structure was great for my 12 year old. The other kids playing on it at the same time probably ranged from 7-10.

Tefft Park South Playground

The southern playground at Tefft Park offers more fun for all ages. There is a low parallel slide and stairs to access the structure.

At 12, my daughter enjoyed the curved monkey bars and the plank bridge.

While we were on this playground, a toddler was enjoying the slide with his mom.
