Mill Pond Park Description
My daughter and I both walked away from Mill Pond Park wondering why we had never visited before. We are definitely putting it on our list to visit again, maybe with friends so to take advantage of the gaga pit. The park offers something for kids of all ages. My 10 year old found plenty to climb or challenge herself with.
At the same time, there is an area designed for younger children. This area has a smaller slide, bucket swings, and smaller climbing areas. It is separated from the rest of the playground by a fence, although the entrance from the rest of the playground is open.
Events at Mill Pond Park
Mill Pond Park is the host for many events in Saline. Their biggest event is the annual Saline Celtic Festival. They also host movies in the park every summer and the annual kids Mini Mastodon fun run on the last day of school. They also are a location of Rec on the Go programs each summer.
