Lions Park Description
The playground consists of a structure and multiple climbing apparatus. Arbor Annie approves of the blue color of Dexter’s Lions Park Playground. The playground is a couple of blocks from Downtown Dexter. Unlike Mill Creek North (profiled last week) whose structure is geared to young children, Lions Park will appear more to older kids

Lions Park Playground features several unique climbing and swinging structures. My teen was at a high school club meeting while I explored Dexter, but even she would be intrigued by the umbrella like structure – as long as she kept her legs tucked up.

Beyond Lions Park
While Lions Park is not as close to Downtown as Mill Creek Park North, it is still a great playground within walking distance of downtown. Stop for a treat at Dexter Creamery, Dexter Bakery, or Dairy Queen, or grab a meal at one of the downtown restaurants.
