About Strong Moms Strong Girls

Strong Moms Strong Girls, a program of the Junior League of Ann Arbor, teaches girls and their female caregivers how to build healthy friendships and deal with relational bullying. We aim to strengthen girls’ confidence and emotional wellbeing while developing their skills as allies. Relational aggression involves hurting someone’s reputation, feelings or relationships and often occurs among friends. Psycho-educational offerings include a 2 hour “Building Connections” workshop at a location of your choice, a 3.5 hour workshop entitled “Figuring Out Friendships” hosted at the New Center for grades k-6 and private consultations. Please contact Roberta Hirshon MA LMSW at smsg@jlaa.org.
