Michigan’s many species of ducks, geese, and swans are some of the most interesting animals that call the state home during the cold winter months. Discover how to identify a variety of these birds as we learn about their unique behaviors and adaptations.
This indoor/outdoor program will start at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center for an indoor presentation, then head outside to observe the waterfowl that are commonly found on Kent Lake and the surrounding wetlands.
Please bring binoculars if you have them. A spotting scope will be available during the program to get an up-close look at these amazing birds.
