How do owls see at night, how does the bat fly in the dark… come discover your night senses while learning how nocturnal animals use their heightened senses at Independence Lake County Park on our night hike. Hike is designed to teach participants to heighten their night senses and feel comfortable in the dark. Hike begins at the Beach Center pavilion and finishes near a bon-fire with hot cocoa or cider and s’mores. Please monitor the weather and remember to dress for the outdoors. Although headlamps or flashlights are not required some participants find bringing one helpful.
There are two sessions – one starting at 7p and one starting at 8p
Vehicle Entry Fee required – $6/County Residents, $10/non-residents.
