DESCRIPTION:\nHear a book and get inspired! Students ages 5-8 will experien
 ce the joy of story-creating however they are able\, from writing to conve
 rsation-based brainstorming and development of new ideas.\n\n\n\nDuring ea
 ch session\, they'll read a book aloud and pay attention to one special th
 ing the writer does (like using rhyme to impact the reader\, or how the wr
 iter shows a character’s feelings). Then\, work on activities inspired b
 y that idea. Students brainstorm with volunteers and then do independent w
 riting in whatever form and subject they choose! Students are encouraged t
 o experience the joy of story-creating however they are able\, from the ph
 ysical act to conversation-based brainstorming and developing new ideas.\n
