 cial interactive performance for families invites you to explore music and
  dance from the Arab World. Led by Chloé Gray of Ypsilanti’s Fun Girl D
 ance Company and music educator and oud player Raphique Barakat\, the even
 t will focus on the dabke\, a traditional line-and-circle folk dance featu
 ring energetic stomping\, jumping\, and kicking to rhythmic music. It’s 
 a symbol of community that is often performed at weddings\, festivals\, an
 d other cultural events.\n\n\n\nThe event is free with registration. It is
