Verify Event Before Attending
As of February 22 when we added this event, we have not seen an announcement that the Michigan Avenue Branch has reopened. Over the last few months, the library has scheduled events and had to cancel them when the library did not open. We will try to check back before the event to see if the library has opened, the event has been moved, or cancelled.
Please join YDL the first and third Tuesday of each month for a fun-filled teen book club featuring snacks, free books and a gift card raffle. The Great Stories Club will explore questions of race, equity, identity and history.
The books are selected to inspire young people – especially those facing difficult circumstances or challenges – to consider “big questions” about the world around them and their place in it.
For further details, questions or to join the Teen Great Stories Club, please email Kelly Pedersen Scott at kscott@ypsilibrary.org.
