SUMMARY:WAPUR High School Robotics Competition
DESCRIPTION:\nWAPUR\, Washtenaw Area Pick-Up Robotics\, is where High Schoo
 l Robotics teams from the FIRST Robotics Competition League throw together
  a large wheeled robot to play fast\, fun 2-on-2 matches involving pickle 
 balls\, crates\, and library shelves to win a giant can of beans.\n\n\n\nW
 atch some matches\, meet the teams\, try some robot-themed crafts\, and ma
 ybe be a part of the action! Finals will begin about 5p where the winning 
 team takes home the coveted can of beans!.\n\n\n\nQuick Game Summary:\n\n\
 n\n\nField will be divided in half with library shelves &amp\; bumpers in 
 the center. Each team will stay on their half of the field.\n\n\n\nTeams w
 ill earn a point for each pickle ball on the opponents side at the end of 
 the game.\n\n\n\nPoints are also awarded for pickleballs placed into bucke
 ts on the top shelf.\n\n\n\nTeams also earn points by placing crates on th
 e shelves. Each crate has a few books in it. To score points\, the books n
 eed to stay in the crate. \n\n\n\nTeams earn bonus points for crates in co
 mplete rows or columns\n\n\n\nAt the end of the match points will be earne
 d for each pickleball on the opponents side of the field\n\n\n\nThe game i
 s 10 seconds of autonomous robot action followed by 2 minutes 20 seconds o
 f human controlled action.\n\n\n\n\nTournament Summary\n\n\n\nThe game is 
 split into a Qualification and Playoff Phase. \n\n\n\n\nQualification Matc
 hes - 2-4:30p\n\nEach team will play qualifying matches.\n\n\n\nYour teamm
 ates and opponents change for each qualifying match\n\n\n\n\n\nAlliance Se
 lection\n\nThe top 4 robots after qualification will draft their partner f
 or Finals\n\n\n\n\n\nFinals Matches - end around 5p\n\nSingle elimination 
 bracket\, but if time allows each round will be a best of 3.\n\n\n\n
