SUMMARY:Japan Week | Sakura Instrumental Group + Calligraphy Performance
DESCRIPTION:\nImmerse yourself in the vibrant cultural tapestry of Japan wi
 th the Sakura “Cherry Blossom” Japanese Instrumental Group. Experience
  the enchanting world of the Shishimai Lion dance\, a traditional folk art
  passed down through generations\, which brings the magic of Japanese folk
 lore to life. \n\n\n\nThe presentation will also feature the Shodo calligr
 aphy artist\, Kyoko Fujii\, who will create traditional Japanese calligrap
 hy using an extraordinarily large-sized washi paper and brush\, accompanie
 d by traditional festival music. Conclude the show with a summer celebrati
 on Bon Dance. Simple moves will be demonstrated that can be performed stan
 ding or sitting to the festive beats of drums.\n\n\n\nEvent will be held i
 n the 1st floor lobby. For Grades K-Adult\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
