DESCRIPTION:\nIn this workshop\, you'll select and put together fabric to f
 orm the pages of an embroidery book. Class includes pre-washed\, pre-cut f
 abrics to complete the book\, a needle\, and an assortment of embroidery t
 hread to get you started!\n\n\n\nA finished Fabric Book could be filled wi
 th stitches to tell a whimsical story\, or be used as a workbook to learn 
 and practice new stitches. Explore a variety of beads and fabric scraps to
  embellish your book while you're in the studio. This workshop is both pra
 ctical and imaginative!\n\n\n\nCarol Taite\, the volunteer educator teachi
 ng this workshop\, is a local artist who has been sourcing from SCRAP for 
 many years. Her personal creative projects include garment making and whim
 sical textile art.\n\n\n\nFor ages 12+. Youth must be accompanied by an ad
 ult. \n\n\n\nThey use a tiered price structure:\n\n\n\n\nAmbitious Artist 
 ($14) - This ticket reflects the “true value” of the event.\n\n\n\nPa
 tron of the Arts ($16) - Your extra support contributes to continued tick
 et accessibility — thank you so much!\n\n\n\nCurious Crafter ($12) - O
 ur most accessible option for community members experiencing financial ha
 rdship.\n\n\n\nAssistant Crafter ($2) - This ticket is geared toward adul
 ts accompanying youth who won't be crafting independently. The cost of th
 is ticket supports our programming\, contributes to continued ticket acces
 sibility\, and ensures a space in the workshop for chaperones — thank y
