DESCRIPTION:\nThe 2023 Salute to America runs July 2-5. Each year the Detro
 it Symphony Orchestra and the Henry Ford Museum present Salute to America 
 at Greenfield Village. This year's event combines the best elements of the
 ir traditional show with the modified strolling show introduced in 2021.\n
 \n\n\nStart the evening by exploring Greenfield Village's historical distr
 icts and stop to listen to small DSO ensembles throughout the village. The
 se ensembles will feature different types of American music - choral singi
 ng\, ragtime\, jazz\, and more. There will be food trucks along Main Stree
 t and the carousel will be \n\n\n\nThe event will conclude at dusk with th
 e full DSO on the main stage featuring orchestral music and selections fro
 m films and pop culture before concluding with the 1812 overture\, canon f
 ire\, and a fireworks finale.\n\n\n\nGreenfield Village hosted us in 2019 
 and it was a spectacular show...even though it rained for most of the nigh
 t. At the time\, the concert was in Walnut Grove and there were no strolli
