DESCRIPTION:\nThe Saline Merry Mile is a 1 mile race/run on Michigan Avenue
  in downtown Saline along the annual holiday parade route . It kicks off s
 hortly after the tree lighting\, but before the parade starts. \n\n\n\nThe
  race will start at the 4 corners (Ann Arbor Street and Michigan Avenue) a
 nd run east on Michigan Ave until a turnaround point just before Old Creek
 /Maple.&nbsp\; Once the runners turn around\, they will head west on Michi
 gan Avenue until they reach the finish line\, west of the 4 corners.&nbsp\
 ; The race has both a downhill start and finish.&nbsp\; This is the only o
 pportunity to run on Michigan Ave as the road is only closed 2 times per y
 ear.\n\n\n\nThe race will start at 5:30pm after the tree is lit. It will f
 inish by 6p so the holiday parade can start on time.&nbsp\; This is a grea
 t run for adults and children and is a great entry level race for beginnin
 g runners as well as a competitive event for seasoned athletes.\n\n\n\nReg
 istered adults can have 2 runners 10 &amp\; under join them for free! The 
 kids also get the race t-shirt\, etc.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
