Purple Run is a 5K Walk/Run benefitting SafeHouse Center.
Purple Run – “Running Domestic Violence Out of Town”
The Annual Purple Run is an exciting collaboration between the University of Michigan Police Department, the Ann Arbor Police Department, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office, and SafeHouse Center to bring our community together while highlighting the prevalence of Domestic Violence. In Washtenaw County, law enforcement and advocates work very closely with one another and, whether it is on active cases or community events, they are actively engaged in protecting and safe-guarding the public.
Registration costs:
- Day of Registration: $40
- Adult Advance Registration: $35
- Students: $5 discount
- Children under 12 – FREE*
* Children 12 and under only receive a t-shirt and souvenir if they register as a student runner.
All participants even those in a stroller need to register.
T-shirts are guaranteed to those registered by October 12.
