Phil Ogilvie’s Rhythm Kings are an award-winning Hot Jazz and Dance Orchestra, playing in Ann Arbor for listening and dancing since 2001.
In 2019 they debuted their Kids Show, with a program of music specifically tailored for young people. It’s intelligent, funny, fun, sometimes silly, and is a great opportunity for children to experience music in person!
Our next PORK Kids Show is happening on Sunday 11/20 at the Zal Gaz Grotto, 2070 West Stadium in Ann Arbor. Adult admission is $10 and kids are FREE.
Sample video of “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf” below and event flyer attached.
Bandleader Chris Smith’s daughters Bonnie and will debut a new arrangement of Rossini’s Duet for Two Cats, this should be a lot of fun. And we’ll have treats and party favors for kids who attend.
In addition we’ll play Mysterious Mose, Me and My Shadow, In the Little Red Schoolhouse, Old Macdonald, Knock Knock (Who’s There?)(lots of dad jokes on this one), Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, and more.
The Zal Gaz Grotto will be a happy place, filled with families with young children enjoying music and dancing their hearts out!
