DESCRIPTION:\nLearn the pewter sand casting process! Be authorized to use t
 he pewter pot and sand casting area\, with membership. The pewter sand cas
 ting process has historically been used to produce Egyptian and Roman tabl
 eware and decorative items\, dating all the way back to 1450 BC. In this c
 lass\, each student creates a sand mold\, packs the sand through hammering
 \, melts pewter\, pours the molten pewter into their mold\, and cleans up 
 the resulting casting.\n\n\n\nAges 16+.  Ages 13-15 with direct adult sup
 ervision\n\n\n\n\n
