Blend science and art with this exploration of leaf colors! Find fall colors on the beautiful nature trails of Kensington Metropark with a fall colors scavenger hunt.
Then, make like a scientist and dive into leaf colors with a chromatography activity to see what base colors come out of leaves you collected on the trail. Then use these colors to blend your own leaf paintings.

Paint and tree ID supplies provided.
The scavenger hunt walk will be less than a mile on uneven, gravel and dirt trails.
The event is for ages 8 & up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required by 4p the day before the event.
