Event Description

Local history, science fact, and science fiction collide as another unique and peculiar library adventure lands in Ann Arbor! Analyze the mystery, investigate the crash scene, and float through the evidence as you encounter something out of this world… or just out of the sewer.

At the event, you can read about the 1966 UFO sightings in Washtenaw County and get hands-on in our science lab where you might encounter fake alien DNA or swamp gas. You can also get lost in the fog and sounds of the vortex room, collaborate on creating an extraterrestrial biological entity, and follow a poetic path that will lead you to the stars.

For all ages. Events held around the library – Youth Story Corner, 1st Floor Lobby, Multi-Purpose Room Secret Lab
