Event Description

Farmers Market excursions are tons of fun for kids. TheManchester Farmers Market is held on Thursdays from 3:30-7p at Chi-Bro Park. The market starts for the season on May 9 and runs through October 24.

Each week there is a theme with fun activities – many great for kids. A selection of upcoming kid-friendly themes:

  • May 9- Mother’s Tea and Mother’s Day Craft
  • June 13-  Fairy Festival
  • June 20- Children’s Bike Parade; Manchester Flea Market
  • June 27-Dairy Festival 
  • July 4-Free American Flags
  • July 18-Make and Take Chicken Headbands;  Manchester Flea Market
  • July 25-HERB Fest- scavenger hunt 
  • August 1-Kids Biz
  • August 8-Chalk Art and Manchester Rocks! Painting
  • August 22-Marks Farm Petting Zoo
  • August 29-Kids Biz;  Preserving Your Food: Canning, Dehydrating, and Freezing
  • September 5- Corn Roast
  • September 12- Make and Take Scarecrow
  • September 19- Farmers Market Bingo; Manchester Flea Market
  • October 3-  Healthy Trick or Treat
  • October 10-Fire Safety Week
  • October 17-Pumpkin Painting; Manchester Flea Market
  • October 24-Customer Appreciation Day
