Event Description

CANCELED – Huron-Clinton Metroparks has canceled all programming through April 5.

Join Kensington Metropark for Maple’s Sweet Story on Saturdays and Sundays in March. Join a guided walk through the sugar bush. Learn how  to pick a tree, watch it be tapped and sap collection. VIsit the French and native camp to see how the process has changed over the years. Finally, stop in the Sugar Shack to watch sap being boiled into maple sugar.

There will be free sample tastes of the syrup. You will be able to purchase maple sugar products and pancakes.

Tours start every 30 minutes and last about an hour.

$5/adults, $3/child

$10 daily vehicle entry fee or $35/year.
