DESCRIPTION:\nJoin YDL for an outdoor nature hunt\, including an ecological
  survey w/hula hoops. Young patrons will place a hula hoop in a chosen out
 door area and carefullly observe the plants and animals within its boundar
 y and make their own field guide. Using an activity sheet\, they will reco
 rd all the different species they find. After completing their survey\, th
 ey will reflect on their findings by answering questions on a separate wor
 ksheet. \n\n\n\nThen\, hear a live story from one of Black Men Read’s g
 uests-- scientists\, readers\, innovators\, and more! Using hands-on explo
 ration alongside storytime\, STEM &amp\; Stories helps children build new 
 STEM vocabulary\, confidence\, and curiosity while seeing themselves refle
 cted as thinkers\, builders\, and creators. All children and families are 
 welcome.\n
