DESCRIPTION:\nThe annual Ann Arbor Huron River Day Celebration is held by A
 nn Arbor Parks. This year it has a new location\, and a new format. It mov
 es to Ann Arbor's Riverside Park (1000 Canal St).\n\n\n\n\nHuron River Day
  is a day of celebrating our community's unique and special resource.&nbsp
 \;The Huron River&nbsp\;flows through our city and provides so many benefi
 ts to our community and our environment. This scenic&nbsp\;river is a sour
 ce for drinking water\,&nbsp\;a home for the wildlife&nbsp\;and a place fo
 r recreation\, including kayaking and&nbsp\;fishing.​​\n\n\n\nThis eve
 nt encourages partnerships among government\, private and non-profit organ
 izations and educates citizens about water quality and Huron River preserv

 iver Day Morning Activities\n\n\n\nThis year they are hosting morning acti
 vities before the Festival. You will have the chance to become a Huron Her
 o! Sign up to attend one of their activities\, speaker sessions\, or clean
 ups. Several of the options are family-friendly:\n\n\n\n\n9-11a: Park Clea
 nup - RIverside Park\, Gallup Park\, &amp\; Bandemer Park (minors must be 
 accompanied by a guardian)\n\n\n\n10-11:30a: Turtle Craft - For kids in gr
 ades K-5 - Island Park\n\n\n\n10-11:15a: Turtle Walk &amp\; Learn - Bandem

 lots.\n\n\n\nPast Huron River Days\n\n\n\nWhile the kayaking and stand up 
 paddleboarding were always one of my daughter's favorite activities at Hur
 on River Day\, she still enjoyed the other events. I love the addition of
