Learn some fall cleanup tricks to get your garden ready to bloom next spring!
Join Library Gardener Stephanie as the growing season winds down and she starts the process of putting the library gardens to bed for the winter. Learn what you should plant in the fall for spring blooms, what seeds should overwinter in your garden, new ways to get your garden started in the spring, and take home seeds and bulbs to use in your own garden.
The Grow Your Garden series, aimed at giving new and experienced young gardeners space to try new techniques and learn from the gardening community, is open to any age child or children and their family members. The classes will include hands-on learning about different gardening techniques, time to practice a new skill, and take-home supplies. Registration is encouraged so that they can prepare enough materials.
This event is for all ages.
