DESCRIPTION:\nJoin Independence Lake in celebrating one of the shortest day
 s of the year. \n\n\n\nWeather\, trail type and trail conditions will dict
 ate which trail will be lit. Path will be about 1 mile.\n\n\n\nThere will 
 be a campfire\, s’mores and hot cocoa. Trail is not plowed in snowy cond
 itions. Dog walkers welcome.\n\n\n\nIn past years\, the listing said if co
 nditions are right there might be a special guest from the North Pole. The
 re is no message of a special visitor this year.\n\n\n\n\n\nDress for the 
 weather and be prepared for slippery trails since they are not maintained 
 in the winter.\n\n\n\nThe event is $15/family or household up to 4 members
 . Only one person needs to register per family of 4.\n\n\n\nVehicle entry 
 fee is required ($6/day for county residents\, $10/day for non-residents o
 r $30/year for county residents or $45/year for non-residents). \n\n\n
