Event Description

Create your own project inspired by Pan-African Pulp, UMMA’s new commission by Meleko Mokgosi. The work is inspired by African photo novels fo the 1960s & 1970s. Local artist Sajeev Vadakoottu will lead participants in transferring, composing, and transforming their own images (please bring your phone) to create a relief print.

Family Art Studio is a free event for families. Since relief printmaking involves carving a block, this studio session is recommended for ages 8+ with close parental supervision. While the event is Free, registration is required.
