Many novels suffer from “sagging middle” syndrome. Authors often have an easier time starting and ending a novel than slogging through the long middle. But a strong midpoint scene will anchor the narrative, deepen the stakes, send the plot in new directions, and hold reader interest from the first page to the last. In this workshop, Alex Kourvo and Bethany Neal will show you how to turn your midpoints from mundane to masterful.
For teens & adults. Event held in the West Side room
