Event Description

Do your kids love to create, build, solve problems, and have fun? If so, Elementary Engineering Exploration Day is perfect for them! My name is Kaitlyn Barr, and I am the Elementary Outreach officer for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at the University of Michigan. Each semester, we host Elementary Engineering Exploration Day, which is a day of super fun, hands-on engineering activities for kids in grades K-5 to show them that engineering is super creative and rewarding.  If you’re interested in joining us for this semester’s Engineering Exploration Day, here are the details:

Who: Kids in grades K-5. The event is co-ed, and parents are welcome!

When: Saturday, February 22nd, from 10:00 am-1:30 pm

Where: Dow building on University of Michigan’s North Campus

Cost: $6 per person. Lunch is provided!
