 elcome visitors back to the Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center at Waterloo St
 ate Recreation Area Saturday\, April 18 and Sunday\, April 19.\n\n\n\nCome
  in to see the new and improved Discovery Center and enjoy some family-fri
 endly activities which will include a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1p on Sat
 urday and live animal programs on Sunday afternoon at 1 &amp\; 2:30 p spon
 sored by the Waterloo Natural History Association. \n\n\n\nThey will also 
 be celebrating Earth Day with special earth and nature-themed activities.\
 n\n\n\nThe Eddy Discovery Center has been closed for renovations for about
  a year\, including roof replacement\, atrium renovations\, HVAC installat
 ion\, updated exhibits and carpeting replacement. A proposed $2.1 million 
 in federal relief funding from Gov. Whitmer’s Building Michigan Together
  Plan made these and other renovations possible.\n\n\n\n\n
