All aboard! Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to join him for a day of big adventures and even bigger memories at Day Out with Thomas: The Steam Team Tour, presented by Mattel. Children everywhere can spend a day with their friend Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into Greenfield Village on April 27-28, May 4-5, 11-12, 2019.
This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including toy play, photo ops, and more. The tour, now in its 24th year, will make 37 stops across the U.S. and Canada and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2019.

Day Out with Thomas Schedule
- A 25-minute (approximate) ride with a talking Thomas the Tank Engine
- A Meet & Greet with Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway
- A Thomas & Friends Imagination Station featuring a variety of activities including new iPad activities
- Magic Show
- Thomas & Friends-themed activities including crafts, photo ops, and more
- Storytelling and live music
Tickets
Tickets for Day Out with Thomas go on sale March 6 for Henry Ford Members and March 13 for the general public.
Ticket prices (tax, service charges and fees may apply):
- Members of The Henry Ford (aged 1 and up) – $11.75
- Adult non-members – $39.75
- Senior (62+) non-members – $37.00
- Youth (5-11) non-members – $32.75
- Children (1-4) – $11.75
There is a $6 parking fee for non-members
