The Creature Conservancy is open for creature encounters on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5p. Note – In November they will not be open Thanksgiving Weekend.
During each session there are animal presentations on the Stone Stage at 2 &4p (they say the 4p show is usually less crowded) and a 3p Zookeeper talk.
Other animal ambassadors are also on display! Indoors and/or outdoors, you can see many species of animal, including kangaroos, prairie dogs, alligators, turkey vultures, macaws, snapping turtles, porcupines, muntjac, giant tortoises, arctic foxes, and many more.
For November the featured animals are:
- Wood Turtle
- Coyote (3p only)
The main building is accessed by parking in the lot immediately off Ann Arbor-Saline Rd and following the guided signs to the entrance. The Creature Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located at 4950 Ann Arbor-Saline Rd.
