Event Description

At Be the Change: Stories and Crafts for First Steps in Social Justice Mindfulness instructor Grace Helms Kotre willl read the book Skin Again and lead a discussion about how and why skin color varies. Children will create a self-portrait with fun craft materials and also explore objects that match their own skin tone. Parent resources on discussing race with young children will be provided
