DESCRIPTION:\nLocal environmental musician Joe Reilly and friends will be p
 erforming at The Ypsi Freighthouse for Earth Day.\n\n\n\nJoe Reilly is a s
 inger/songwriter\, social worker\, and Michigan educator who writes songs 
 from his heart. The Italian\, Irish\, and Native American (Cherokee) singe
 r draws from his children’s albums of environmental and community songs 
 in this concert for families. This performance will also feature musicians
  Mark Stone and Lesley-Anne Stone. After the performance\, families are in
 vited to stay for a hands-on activity led by Growing Hope\n\n\n\nMake a S
 eed Ball with Growing Hope\n\n\n\nGet your hands dirty for a greener plane
 t! Join Growing Hope after the concert for a hands-on workshop to create y
 our own “seed balls”—small\, nutrient-dense balls of clay\, soil\, a
 nd native seeds designed to sprout into wildflowers wherever they land. Na
 tive plants help support pollinators and our local ecosystems\, and are a 
 great way to celebrate Earth Day! They will also have free vegetable\, her
 b\, and flower seeds from the Growing Hope Seed Library for participants t
 o take home.\n\n\n\nThe concert is sponsored by UMS. There will be a repea
 t concert on Sunday at 11a. Tickets are free when reserved in advance.\n\n
