Dine with Santa
I remember having Breakfast with Santa when I was a child. It was definitely an experience I wanted to share with my daughter. There are several options to Dine with Santa in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County. I’ve also partnered with other sites in Southeast Michigan to bring you a list of all the opportunities to Dine with Santa throughout Metro Detroit.
Dine with Santa Event Listings
A nice meal with Santa is an event that I consider worth a bit of a drive. I teamed up with several other sites in Southeast Detroit once again to help you find Dine with Santa events across Southeast Michigan.

Disclosure: The Kensington Hotel has paid for increased exposure of their Santa Breakfast. All opinions are our own.
The Kensington Hotel is holding Breakfast with Santa on December 10th and 11th from 8a-noon each day. Breakfast with Santa is a great way for kids to meet Santa without the long lines at the mall. I love how they offer a nice scene for the photo with a tree, presents, and a red chair. Parents can take as many photos as they want and save the money on a photo package at the mall. Breakfast with Santa is $12/adults and $8/children. Reservations are required and can be made by phone (734-761-1799) or email.
Our Santa Breakfast Experiences
I remember doing breakfast with Santa as a child, so I definitely looked for options when my daughter was born. We took my daughter to her first Breakfast with Santa when she was 11 months old. I got a great photo of her staring at Santa from her high chair. Unfortunately, I can’t find my CD drive to share it here.
My daughter was intimidated by the Santa sets at the Mall when she was young. I think it felt a bit like being on stage. By dining with Santa, she had a more relaxed environment to interact with him at our table, when he gathered kids for story time, or in a less formal photo opportunity.
We have had Breakfast with Santa several times at Briarwood Mall. They do not have an event listed for this year.
If you are attending Holiday Nights at Greenfield Village, I do recommend their Supper with Santa program.
