Brickworld Michigan Overview

Last year Brickworld hosted us to share the event with our readers. Check out some highlights from our visit in this video.

Tips for Brickworld Michigan

Based on our visits the previous 2 years, I have a few suggestions.

  • Bring cash for the Suburban Collection Showplace parking fee.
  • Wear Comfortable Shoes.
  • Dress in layers so you can adjust if it is warm or cool in the exhibit.
  • Let the kids set the pace. There is plenty of time to see everything. If they want to study a particular exhibit, let them.
  • Set an expectation for the shops. There are various vendors selling LEGO products. Last year they were setup along the walls with the exhibit in the center. A few suggestions:
    • Children bring their own money
    • Set a budget ahead of time
    • Shop after visiting the rest of the show
    • Skip the shops
  • Plan around meal times. We visited in the morning and then stopped for lunch on the way home. Visiting after lunch is also a good option. There may be food for purchase.

Little buddy is obsessed with Legos! His last two birthdays have been at the Legoland discovery center at Great Lakes Mall. Looking forward to brickworld this year
