Looking at A Colorful Dream and Writing Fairytales

Kids and families are invited to join Doodles Academy for a gallery walk and discussion in the A Colorful Dream exhibit. Get inspired, then visit writing stations where you can roll and write a fairy tale and imagine jumping into one of the worlds you saw in the exhibit with the help of 826michigan and YpsiWrites.

You’ll also participate in a collaborative brainstorm of fairy-tale elements that will be used at the Making Art session on October 14. Attendance at both sessions is not required, but they build on one another, allowing for a deeper, more nuanced experience.

Then, be inspired and create your own art at stations with different media.
