DESCRIPTION:\nArt was a powerful form of resistance against Nazi oppression
  during the Holocaust. Although the Nazi regime cracked down on art that i
 t considered degenerate or subversive\, artists used creative expression t
 o foster humanity\, preserve dignity\, and serve as a form of resistance d
 uring this time.\n\n\n\nThis event will explore art created by victims and
  survivors during and after the Holocaust and examine their message and me
 aning for us today.\n\n\n\nThis event is in partnership with the Zekelman 
 Holocaust Center.\n\n\n\nFor teens &amp\; adults. Held in Fourth Floor Pro
 gram Room.\n
