DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nHigh Schoolers are invited to the Annual Aerospace Day on
  Friday\, August 7 at Willow Run Airport.\n\n\n\ngives students the oppo
 rtunity to connect directly with pilots\, aviation professionals\, educato
 rs\, and industry leaders through a full day of hands on learning and care
 er exploration. Whether students already dream of flying or are simply cur
 ious about aerospace careers\, this event is designed to inspire and intro
 duce students to the exciting opportunities within the aviation industry.\
 n\n\n\nStudents will experience aviation up close through:\n\n\n\n\nAviati
 on and aerospace career exploration\n\n\n\nHands on STEM and aviation acti
 vities\n\n\n\nAirport and aviation facility tours\n\n\n\nStatic aircraft d
 isplays and interactive exhibits\n\n\n\nOpportunities to meet pilots\, mec
 hanics\, engineers\, military representatives\, aviation students\, and ae
 rospace companies\n\n\n\nInformation about flight training\, college aviat
 ion programs\, scholarships\, internships\, and aerospace career pathways\
 n\n\n\n\nA limited number of flight experiences will be offered depending 
 on pilot availability\, weather\, and the number of students registered. D
 uring registration\, students may indicate if they would like to enter the
  lottery for a flight experience. Participating students will be randomly 
 selected during the event.\n\n\n\n​\n\n\n\nFor many students\, Aerospace
  Day is their first opportunity to visit an active airport\, step inside a
 n aircraft\, or meet professionals working in aviation and aerospace. Our 
 goal is to help students discover new possibilities and inspire the next g
 eneration of aviation and aerospace leaders.\n\n\n\nThis is a no-cost even
 t with lunch provided sponsored by STEM Flights\, Eastern Michigan Univers
 ity\, and avaiation industry partners.\n\n\n\n\n
