DESCRIPTION:\nThis is a workshop for a child and a caregiver. They will hol
 d a session from 10a-noon for ages 7-12 and 1-3 for ages 13-17\n\n\n\nIn t
 his engaging and hands-on workshop\, students will explore the elements of
  art and principles of design while completing a custom screen print of th
 eir own creation. Seriography\, also known as screen printing\, is a techn
 ique with over a thousand years of history\, gaining widespread popularity
  in the 1960s through iconic artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol
 .\n\n\n\nDuring this session\, students will each design and print their o
 wn custom tote bag and create a set of original prints. Participants will 
 be guided step-by-step through the screen printing process\, including cre
 ating a design using screen filler\, selecting and mixing ink colors\, and
  printing their design onto fabric and paper.\n\n\n\nThis workshop encoura
 ges creativity\, collaboration\, and a deeper understanding of composition
 \, figure ground relationships\, and color theory—all while learning a t
 ime-honored art technique in a fun\, supportive environment.\n\n\n\nThis i
 s a free event\, but as space is limited\, they ask that you register to r
 eserve your spot. Once spots are filled\, they will create a waitlist. You
  will be automatically notified if a space becomes available. Please regis
 ter for the age group appropriate for your child. This registration includ
