DESCRIPTION:\nThe Boychoir of Ann Arbor is holding their 39th annual A Boyc
 hoir Christmas concert. There are two shows. Saturday's show is at 3p at S
 t Paul Lutheran Church\, Ann Arbor. Sunday's show is at 6p at First Presby
 terian Church\, Ypsilanti.\n\n\n\nAdult tickets are $20. Youth tickets (K-
 12th grade) are free.\n\n\n\nAbout the show:\n\n\n\nThe Boychoir of Ann Ar
 bor\, led by Music Director\, Dr. John Boonenberg\, proudly presents the 3
 9th annual performance of "A Boychoir Christmas" featuring the unique and 
 glorious sound of this outstanding local choir singing beloved classics an
 d beautiful modern settings of choral Christmas repertoire.\n\n\n\nThe tra
 ditional processional hymn "Once in royal David's city\," with soaring boy
  soprano solo\, and the perennial favorites “In dulci jubilo\,” “In 
 the bleak midwinter\,” and “Somerset Wassail” are sure to get you in
  the Christmas spirit.\n\n\n\n“Peace with Me Now\,” by Abbie Burt Beti
 nis\, will continue the Boychoir tradition of honoring Ann Arbor’s music
 al history with a Burt Family Carol.\n\n\n\nOther selections include two n
 ew exciting and infectious carols—“Come and Dance” by Toby Young and
  “Magnificat” by Steve Parsons. Carolyn Jenning’s beloved “Climb t
 o the top of the Highest Mountain” will also feature\, along with a rous
 ing interpretation of “Masters in this Hall” by the Young Men’s Ense
 mble.\n\n\n\nTraditional hymns with audience participation will include "H
 ark! the herald angels sing"\, and "O come\, all ye faithful.” John Gard
 ner's setting of "Tomorrow shall be my dancing day\,” which has been sun
 g at every performance of "A Boychoir Christmas" for nearly 40 years\, wil
 l once again close the performance.\n\n\n\nThe Boychoir of Ann Arbor is di
 rected by Dr. John Boonenberg\, in his eighth year as Music Director of th
 is renowned non-profit community choir of boys ages 8 to 18.\n\n\n\nAward-
 winning organist Dr. Naki Sung Kripfgans will accompany “A Boychoir Chri
 stmas.”\n\n\n\nThe Boychoir of Ann Arbor is a 501(c)3 non-profit organiz
 ation bringing together boys who like to sing and presenting beautiful cho
 ral performances for our communities.\n\n\n\n\n
