DESCRIPTION:\nThe 4-H Youth Show/Fair is held annually at the end of July.\

 The fair is always held the 4th Sunday of July and runs through the follow
 ing Friday. For 2024 that is Sunday July 21-Friday July 26th.\n\n\n\nThere
  are so many showings\, judgings\, and auctions of livestock that the hour
 s are super generous. Each day starts at 8a. The 2024 schedule is availabl
 e on their website.\n\n\n\nAdmission (and Parking) are FREE!\n\n\n\nFood &
 amp\; Drink - (Info from past years)\n\n\n\nThe Washtenaw Farm Council Gro
 unds have a kitchen where they serve food every day. And ALL the proceeds 
 go to scholarships for 4-H kids. \n\n\n\nNote: Food &amp\; Drink purchases
  have been CASH ONLY in previous years.\n\n\n\n\n\nAnimals\n\n\n\nThere ar
 e all sorts of animals at the 4-H fair: alpacas\, goats\, sheep\, pigs\, c
 attle\, chickens\, rabbits\, and more.\n\n\n\nMy rules for my kids around 
 the animals: Be cautious and courteous. It is usually ok to pet the animal
 s but it is polite to do this only if you see the owner there and can ask 
 permission. Some animals also like to nibble little fingers or may have an
  excited temperament that you might not know about so be careful.\n\n\n\nD
 o NOT bring food to give the animals. This can make them sick. Sometimes y
 ou will pass an owner during a feeding time but it is polite not to ask to
  participate. Humans can carry germs/bacteria that can be harmful to the a
 nimal or it puts the owner in an awkward position. It is better to just wa
 tch and\, if appropriate\, pet but not feed the animals.\n\n\n\n`Their web
