Woolley Park Playground Review
Since the Township acquired Woolley Park, they have extensively renovated it and connected it to the Lohr-Textile Giveaway.
If your child watches American Ninja Warrior, they will love what I’m calling the challenge play area. This area has an infinity climbing wall, spinning disks, and more. She tried to use the spinning disks like they do in American Ninja Warrior, but she was a little too tall to swing her legs and generate momentum.
The main structure offers several levels, a twisting slide, and a straight slide. There are several climbing ways to get on the structures and a pole to slide down.
In front of the play structure are two dinosaurs for climbing. I like the baby triceratops.
I am tempted to come back so we can play disc golf. We didn’t have a frisbee with us, or we would have definitely played.
Woolley Park has a lot of low-lying marshy areas. Be on the lookout for mosquitos, particularly in the late afternoon/evening hours. Several years ago we visited the playground when it was a private park and there were definite mosquito issues. For the profile, we visited at lunch time and there were no problems.
