This profile of Virginia Park is part of our Summer Series: Tuesday Playground Profiles
Each week Ann Arbor with Kids is profiling a different playground in the Ann Arbor area. We arrived to practice a few minutes early this week, so we took some time to explore the playground.

Virginia Park Playground Review
Virginia Park is a small neighborhood park in Ann Arbor. The park has a single play structure which has both a small double slide and a twisty slide. The play structure also has a wobbly bridge.
In addition to the play structure and swings, Virginia Park has a climbing wall and zip lines. My daughter enjoyed the challenge of the climbing wall which has the opportunity to climb upside down.
Upcoming Sponsored Events
The zip lines are free standing and fairly high. My daughter was barely able to reach the zip line. If your child isn’t that tall, you will have to lift them up to the zip line.
Virginia Park has a sand area with a cute hippo crawl through. There are also sand toys that are stored in a storage box to help extend their life.
